Manifesto
Art once imitated life. Then life learned to imitate art. Eventually, you have to ask who is creating whom.
Hollow Proxy is an independent experiment in storytelling built on a simple suspicion: the impossible may not live as far from us as we've been taught. Dreams, rituals, symbols, myths, coincidence, faith, imagination—human beings have always reached for different words to describe experiences that refuse to stay neatly inside the measurable world. Where does superstition end and religion begin? When does imagination become intention? When does a story become something you live by?
I'm Morrigan Lock. I created Hollow Proxy because I believe fiction can carry truth without pretending to be fact. We inherit stories from people who are gone, build identities around people who never existed, dream of places we've never visited, and reshape the physical world according to things that first existed only inside someone's head. Hollow Proxy is my attempt to explore that strange territory—and to leave the door open behind me for other artists to explore it too.
You do not need permission to imagine something greater than the world handed to you. Make things. Question inherited boundaries. Follow the part of yourself that still remembers the playground. Get obsessed. Be ridiculous. Fail spectacularly. Build again. In a world that demands you sleep, hallucinate loudly.
